Booking a wedding DJ in the New Orleans area, can be challenging. Without a local contact, it’s difficult to know the reputation and work ethic of someone you are trying to hire. WEDDING Music
Music versions are always a radio edit. Even with radio edits, some songs are not family friendly. Our default rule, is to stay away from radio edits that could be considered inappropriate. If the client chooses to allow all radio edits, the playlist is adjusted. Explicit versions are rarely played, unless it is an adult reception. Please consult with us about this topic, if this is your preference. Explicit songs can reflect on the DJ.
MUSIC REQUESTS
Music requests by guests, vary on each event. This is up to the client. If the client has no preference, it’s usually DJ discretion, mixed with the vibe of the party.
PLAYLISTS
Clients can share playlists via Spotify, typed text, Excel, and Google Sheets. The Spotify lists can be cross referenced to our legal music library. When submitting playlists, please separate them by segments of the event. Lists such as ceremony songs, cocktail hour, formal dances, dinner songs, reception songs early, and reception songs late.
