Factors can range from location, amount of people, items added, and length of time. You can build your event online and get pricing now. Wedding prices are set higher than corporate events. They require more preparation time with song lists, scripts, and formalities.

Special Notes on Song Lists

Extensive song preparation could have additional fees. Please understand that the lists take a tremendous amount of time to prepare for. They are done prior to the event. When considering wedding DJ pricing in New Orleans, it is important to account for these details. We appreciate your understanding.

Examples of Additional Fees Related to Songs
  • Extensive lists that are greater than 50 songs for the reception.
  • Special start / end times of songs. Requests such as, beginning / ending a song by a certain time.
  • Requests such as, playing songs in a particular order.
  • Only playing songs during a particular time. Requests such as, 10 set songs for hour one, 15 set songs for hour two, 18 songs for hour three.

Song Note: Special song orders are typical for ceremonies, introductions, and formal dances. These charges are inclusive with the Instant Quote feature already. Instant pricing accounts for the standard reception-song list (50 songs) that the client can submit. No extra charges for this list.

Travel and Venue Fees

• Travel to a venue 30 miles or less roundtrip, is inclusive with the Instant Quote. Venues over the allowed mileage, will have travel fees automatically calculated. These fees account for early arrival, gas, and travel time.

​• Upstairs without elevator access, Bourbon Street venues, or riverboats will have additional charges. These charges do not calculate on the Instant Quote. Please inquire for more details.

• Special events such as Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, New Year’s Eve, Essence Fest, and similar events will have added charges. Parking, street closures, and convenience of load in are factors with these events.. Those factors do not calculate on the Instant Quote feature for event pricing with DJ Ronnie Roux.

• Site visits are $100/hr. There is a one hour minimum charge. Prices are for venues in the greater New Orleans area.

Booking Process for Weddings

  • Build your event online and get price quotes. You can generate multiple packages. Use the Instant Quote tab for event pricing with DJ Ronnie Roux. If you prefer to talk with someone, reach out via phone or email.
  • Contact DJ Ronnie Roux via email, phone call, text, or social media. Check to see if the date has availability. You can also use the Request More Information button inside of the Instant Quote.
  • Discuss event details, expected outcomes, and the demographic of the guests. Talks can happen over email, video conference, text, or phone call. Ultimately, we want to make sure the DJ is the correct fit for your wedding event in New Orleans.
  • Contract drafts are drawn up and sent for approval. Once both parties agree on the event details, a request for e-signatures is sent out.
  • Payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. These options will have a 3% processing fee added to the total. ACH and checks have no additional fees. The final check must clear before the event date. Payments are with QuickBooks invoicing, when applicable. 50% of the event total, is due 10 days after the contract is signed. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
